  1. Oh my goodness, I just read this bit last night:

    'Dobby, no, don't die, don't die -'

The elf's eyes found him, and his lips trembled with the effort to form words.

    'Harry ... Potter ...'

And then with a little shudder the elf became quite still, and his eyes were nothing more than great, glassy orbs sprinkled with light from the stars they could not see.

    :):weeping::D:weeping::smile2:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DAMN YOU ROWLING (not really)! :yahoo:

  2. :)<--- HAHA I just find that funny. Ahem.

Oh, I've wanted to start one of these for a long time but I just can't be bothered typing them all out. I now have 93 on my list. Lmao. I can't be stuffed going through them and picking ones I'd like to read this year. :I

Oh! You forgot the Five People in the books you've read so far. LOL, you and your memory. You're worse than me now.

  3. My PS and GoF books are horrible... Goblet isn't so bad, just the bottom right corner folds up (I HATE THAT WITH PAPERBACKS!). But oh Lord. Philosopher's Stone is very... crinkly & wrinkly. It got absolutely drenched in water. I spent about an hour desperately trying to dry the pages one by one with a hair dryer. I almost cried.

  4. "Just because YOU have the emotional range of a teaspoon, doesn't mean we all have!"

xD That was the only scene the movies got absolutely perfect.

    Gotta love Hermione.

I remember laughing quite a lot in the second book when Harry walks into the weasley's kitchen and Ginny's elbow accidentally slips into a dish of butter.

And I think there was another part where she spills her porridge.

    xD

The humour in the HP books are one of the things I love most about them!

  5. Jacob, Esme, Alice, and Rosalie.

What in the?! Didn't know that... well at least they look convincing ? Except for jacob. Those desperate fools! :irked:

I also think the Harry Potter movies miss out on several important bits and pieces, but it wasn't too bad. It's really only the fifth one that misses out on a lot. At least it was bareable to watch, unlike Twilight, which honestly makes me gag.

  6. So I watched the movie tonight with a couple of my friends, and it really started to get on my nerves all the stuff that I thought was important in the book that they left out of the movie! I've only watched the movie once without the commentary on, so I must just not have noticed. The meadow parts took a back seat, and we got to see what, maybe 3 serious conversations between the two? And where the heck were the rest of the kissing scenes, man?! Ah well, I know that can't take everything from page to screen...

    I AGREE! :irked:

    That is all.

  7. Oh, and...

Oh no, that's one thing I never noticed :welcomebcf: I always told anyone who would listen that

he was a good guy and in love with Lily, of course my friends said I was being stupid, but I got the last laugh :D

I never understood how so many people guessed right with Snape! I was shocked. WOW YOU PEOPLE ARE SMART. I suppose I've never really been good at predicting with books. I think that's a good thing, though. ;)

  8. I tried reading the Inheritance trilogy a long time ago and nearly finished the first book, but stopped because I get so easily bored with fantasy books that include a whole lotta travelling. I'm going to try again very soon though, because I just lurve dragons and the plot was pretty good. I just have to survive through the freaking travelling. :irked:
