Thanks Supergran, it did feel a bit like answering exam questions!
I hope you're enjoying Mansfield Park as well!

No worries Rachel
Thanks for adding me. I didn't realise so many of us were on FaceBook. I think I have just about doubled my number of friends in the last day or so!

I did the walk and was pleased just to finish. I ran for maybe a couple of hundred metres near the beginning but quickly realised I should just take it easy or I'd never finish.
It was a very nice stroll and a beautiful day for it, but my legs and feet are still aching a lot 2 days later!

Oh no!! I still haven't done it
My boss probably knows. I get caught every now and then but I don't think anyone knows what it is that I look at.
A few people know about my book obsession but I only have one friend here who I can discuss books with, and she's in another department so I don't get to talk about them often
I have 7 books waiting to be delivered now since Chrissy recommended a book the other day. I think I'll be getting 3 of them this afternoon.

I'd probably cry a lot if I watched RSPCA. I'm such a softy. But yes, it's nice to see people being kind to other things. Sometimes I despair for the lack of kindness in the world, so I'm always glad to be proven wrong.
I think you're referring to the Melbourne bushfires of last year. It was really terrible. So many people died and their communities are only just beginning to be rebuilt. There was a lovely photo that was widely published at the time where a firefighter was holding a bottle of water out to a koala. It was really touching.
The size of TCPatW put me off for a while too. That's the great thing about reading books from the Rory list with others. I have already knocked two huge books of my TBR pile so far this year. I'm pretty sure you'll read TCPatW fairly quickly once you get started. It really sucks you in. I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

Kangaroo isn't eaten very often here, but I think it's going to get more popular in future. Most people don't want to eat 'Skippy'. (Did you ever see that TV show? It was a very popular show about a kangaroo called Skippy who was very helpful.)
I've only eaten it a few times and only recently. It's very lean meat and very good for you.

Not quite a trailer, but I did wheel a little trolley around with me, which was full to overflowing with books. But I wasn't out of place. Lots of people bring trolleys.
Wish Kenny good luck in his exams for me please! I suppose he needs a bit of a sleep in so he can be fully focused when he begins studying
