  8. I've managed to read more than in 2007 but not quite reached my target of 50 . Books which stood out for me this year are: Water For Elephants by Sarah Gruen Footprints In The Sand by Sarah Challis Confessions of An Ugly Stepsister - Gregory Maguire Isles/Rizzoli series - Tess Gerritsen New authors discovered: Tess Gerritsen, Linda Gillard & Sam Hayes Here's to 2009 and hitting the 50 target

  21. This will be Hannah's second op this year! In January they completely removed the nail but it's grown back and gone in on both sides this time :irked: Rob's arthroscopy is sort of exploratory but they are also going to remove any cartilidge and debris whilst they are in there. Hope you enjoy your wheels tomorrow :D

  23. No nothing serious, Hannah is having her ingrowing toenail sorted and hubby is having an arthroscopy. They'll just be off their feet for a while. I assume your op has gone well seeing as you are counting the days till you drive again!

  24. Entertaining Angels was a lovely read which helped the journey through France faster! I've now started The House at Riverton by Kate Morton.
  25. I've just read this and quite enjoyed it although I'd figured out most of the ending part way through. It was easy to read and had me giggling in places.
