  3. :welcomeboard: hope you soon settle in and find your way around the site. If you like reading and talking books you will love it here.
  4. :welcomeboard:Hello and welcome....have fun and get posting :D
  5. Had to post this here. Your Private message box is full it says. Have just finished reading Blood Ties Bookring, a great read. Heather and supergran are on the list for it, Heather isn't wanting to read it at the moment and supergran has a couple on the go too. I could send her it she said but would have to be added to TBR pile. You are the last one on the list and she said if you would like it first I can send it on to you.

Can you send me a PM with your address if you do want it please and will get it in the post.

  6. Just to say, my dad is in a nursing care home too, and has vascular dementia. So I can appreciate what you are going through. Fortunately though he still recognises everyone, but can be confused at times. Having said that he is going through a really good spell at the moment and is being well looked after. We lost mum 4 years ago this xmas and poor dad hasn't really had good health since then.

Anyway I am so glad you and Bev are enjoying the site...and yes not enough reading getting done here either...lol.

  7. Been a while since I read it I have to admit, but I think I know what you mean. Think it was one of the first books I did on Bookcrossing, have found what I said about it.

I found this a very easy read and enjoyed all the characters within 'The Reading Group'. It didn't disappoint at the end as some books do and leave you with 'is that it'. They seemed like a solid group of friends to me and all looked out for each other, although sometimes didn't always get on and each was allowed to have their own opinions.

  8. :merry:....everyone...have a good one.

  14. :006:Bonjour.....thanks for stopping by. I am well thank you although the springtime weather seems to have disappeared, very dull and overcast today, although the daffodils and tulips in the garden brighten it. I have been trying to swim twice a week and sometimes three, all the movtivation is difficult sometimes but once I am there I am glad I have made the effort. I am hoping you and your family are well too.
