I've actually started this book on two different occasions and only got a few pages in, then quickly lost interest....so I was looking forward to your review....looks like I was right! But now I'd like to read it just to compare to the movie thanks Vodkafan

I have found that with her as well....her earlier books were terrific, couldn't wait to read them and when I was I couldn't put them down.....but they started to go downhill.....I don't think her writing style really changed...I think that may have been part of the problem with me even....all the stories seemed pretty much the same...it was getting to hard to decipher one story from the other :/

I have a book somewhere by the same author I think....something about marshmallows...? Haven't read it yet though

Day 08 – Most overrated book The Secret History-Donna Tartt-I've heard nothing but good things about this book....but I found it long and dull Day 09 – A book you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving The Help-Kathryn Stockett-I only glanced at it for a moment when my niece suggested I read it; then tossed it aside for a bit thinking it was some random chick-lit.....it wasn't, and so glad I gave it another look
