  1. Maureen mentioned Marian Keyes and I would agree. I haven't read much chick lit for a while (i've been having a crime phase) but I would be happy to pick up another by her. How about Pauline McLynn? Her "Woman on the Bus" is a great book.
  2. I am another big Gerritsen fan. I have read all the Jane Rizzoli/Maura Isles books (The Surgeon, The Apprentice, The Sinner, Body Double, and Vanish), and am now working my way through the other books of which I have read Life Support, and Call After Midnight. I wouldn't say that Call After Midnight is a romance - it's still a thriller. Warning about these books - once you start you can't stop, so make sure you have a few hours spare when you start.
  3. I don't think that it matters either. I've only read Notes from a Small Islands, but it stood well on it's own, and is a great starting point. It's scary how much you recognise in it. I'm not sure why I haven't read more.
  4. I've skim read some of this, but got too excited and wanted to add my thoughts! I'm a huge Picoult fan - I've read My Sister's Keper (first, and still one of the best in my opinion), The Pact, Plain Truth, Salem Falls and vanishing Acts. I have copies of Keeping Faith and Perfect Match on the shelf, as well as Tenth Circle which a friend bought me signed as a consolation when I couldn't go to a talk Jodi was giving locally. Certainly up with my top 5 authors!
  5. I read most in the bath - but I have hot baths in the winter, and cool baths in the summer (but don't tell the water board!). I read anywhere else as well - on public transport - and while waiting for it, in my lunch break, on the beach, in bed, on the loo!...you name it, I'll pretty much read there!
  6. Birthday: beginning of June Age: 25 Starsign: Gemini Single/Married/Other? Other - living with partner Children? No - I have to deal with too many at work, without having some at home too!
