[Nectar in a Sieve]

I read this book a while ago, and it was really good. I was wondering if anyone else had read it.

I finished the book, there were some pretty funny parts but no offense I didn't really like the book too much

yeah, you definitaly can, my uncle bought me a set a few years ago, they are greay, I love reading them I think the last one I read was a year ago I think, its about Nancy Drew who starts out with her dad being a lawyer so she got into alot of cases and her friends Bess and George were also charecters that carried on from book to book.

I'm reading colour of magic, I'm on page 8 or so. lol I'm probably going to have some issues understanding english humor too, that and it looks like a more difficult book, lol I feel pretty stupid, oh well

[What did you read at school?]

we read Romeo and Juliet in school last year, and I read Macbeth and another book thing that explained it. my teacher made me read Ivanhoe, it is the worst book I've read. I read this really good book a few years ago but I can't remember the name! its bugging the crap out of me. Its about an orphan girl living at an orphange and her best friends name is Susan. she climbs this wall and finds a little cottage thing, and makes it her own. and there is this really well described room called the shell room. and I can't remember the girls name or the books name . does that ever happen to you guys?

[Children's Fiction]

I haven't heard of any of the books you guys listed exept Rolad Dahl and winnie the pooh. but I liked the Henry Reed series, but then again, I was a strange kid. I read the Pee-wee scouts too

The scarlet letter and Uncle toms cabin are next on my list, but that means shoving my self through the thing I'm reading now, it's a book of short stories or something including the strange case of dr.Jekyll and mr.Hyde, there is a story in that book that I'm re-reading and its just messing with my head

I don't really like them, they go to slow for me and they leave less room for imagination imo
