Hi all!
Might be a long shot, but Im looking for a book that I saw once in a thrift store in the early 90's. It was a fascinating fantasy reference book with dozens and dozens, if not hundreds, of illustrated animal soldiers, complete with weapons, vehicles, soldier types, and on and on. I cant recall if there was an accompanying storyline that went with the book, or if it was just a reference book for the types of soldiers. It featured foxes, badgers, rabbits, etc. all in military fatigues, helmets, and weapons and whatnot.
I suppose the closest analogue type of book I could compare it to are the Gnomes books by Rien Poortvilet. The art style looked to be 1970's-1980's- definitely not Anime inspired. The book could very well have been European. I think it was around 80-120 pages.
Anywhoo, its been driving me nuts. Did I dream it? Any help appreciated! Thanks!
