So I just finished reading ,A Very Long Engagement, by Sébastien Japrisot and I’m in awe. In my opinion this book has everything. And when I say everything I mean everything. I’m so happy i bought this book. I was in a book store one day maybe 2 years ago and I was looking at the books on the shelves waiting for the time to run by and I so the book spine with the publishing house and the name of the author and the title. I was intrigued even by the title. Then i grabbed it and I saw the cover, it had me, that was it for me but I continued showing a sceptical face. I read the little summary on the back cover and I was sold for it. It had 3 things that hooks me: number one is romance, number two war and number three plot twist.
If it was possible to get out of my head the book so I can read it for the first time again I would.
To say I recommend it would not do its justice.
