The Runaway Bride by Mary Jayne Baker
This is a heartwarming story about a young woman having dealt with emotional abuse throughout her life, however has a happy ending which leads me to wonder what happens next. I can’t wait to read more books from Mary Jayne Baker in the near future

Hey Everyone
Sorry I’ve been quiet on here this past week and a bit, been so busy at work it’s been ridiculous that Ive lost a bit of my reading mojo! 😢 But I’m getting in back in bed on the iPad and BorrowBox.
Work’s really getting on top of me at the moment and I’ve got a meeting tomorrow, which I’m not looking forward too. So that will be me not sleeping properly tonight (anxiety can be a bitch!)
How is everyone?
Luckily I’m off Wed, Thurs and Fri this week and I have two days worth of plans 😃 so just hoping they both go the way I want them to go…
Just got home after a 10hr shift and picking the youngest up from his school valentines disco 💃 💕
So quick bath, food, reading and bed!

Yes there is named behind the cats 😊
They are as follows:
When we got Four he was previously named Tobias and I didn’t think it went with our surname. At the time we were obsessed with the Divergent films (we still are!). One of the main characters was called Tobias but his nickname in the film was Four and at the time of getting Four, he was Four and so was our son. So it kinda stuck (he’s now going to be 12 in May).
as for Pickett his previous owners couldn’t keep him as he was always locked away while the grandkids were around and his previous name was Toothless as when he stands to attention you can see the spikes in his fur, and again we weren’t keen on keeping his name and we found out he had a talent for chasing shiny things, so he reminded us of Pickett in Fantastic Beasts so he was then renamed to Pickett who’s going to be 5 in August this year…
And yes they both responds to their new names 😊

I had the same question when I first saw it on Twitter 😅. It's because they aren't using the term as it's usually used - when an author tours around different book shops to promote their new book. When it's on Twitter, they usually seem to mean that the book is going to "tour" different people's blogs. So there will be a list of bloggers who will all post their reviews of a new book (and sometimes author interviews, I think) on set dates. You sometimes see people refer to it as a 'book blog tour' instead.
And if it's not that then I don't have a clue!
Yes this is what I worked it out as in my head.. but I like to read what I want and although I would like join a book club where we all read the same book and chat over a coffee either face to face or virtually

Without sounding thick, What Is A Book Tour???
I’ve seen this mentioned on social media in the #BookTwitter community but never really understood what it truly meant!!!

I typed into google today book club online communities…
purely cause I was sick of Goodreads and storygraph…
I like how you can monitor what books you have read and books in your TBR piles but there was no real connection to talk to people, then I came across here this morning and I’m already hooked!

I hope you’ll find it friendlier here Nikki! 😄
I love your ‘cat servant’ description - they truly do rule the house. Pet pictures are very welcome here by the way… 😁
I look forward to hearing more about the kind of books you like!
Okily dokily! Noted on the pet pictures
is there a board specifically for them ?

Who else is watching this on Saturday nights??
I reckon Rhino is James Arthur and Phoenix is Hugh Jackman

No, some were e-books (kindle actually). I was wondering if e-books made a difference.
I’ve just started to dabble in E Books as I don’t have a kindle but I downloaded BorrowBox onto my iPhone and iPad and loan books out from my local library -
This is my first ever E Book!
I think I’ve picked a good one, it’s very relatable as I too fled Domestic Violence and can so relate with the main character and everything she is feeling right now!
Just hoping she gets out and has a happy ending

I care for a single person, my father, but I live in his house so it can be difficult. Couldn't work in a care home though, way too stressful for me. At least you get to leave it behind for a while 🙂 easier said than done, I know.
Yup you got that right, it is easier said than done!Hence why I read!
Luckily I’m just the cleaner, but it still hard work and pulls at your heart strings
