Does anybody reread books - I am always amazed at the little pieces of information you miss the first time around.
I have just started rereading Ruth Rendell's Wexford series. I was surprised that her first book in this series was written in the 1960s but of course, they are far superior to the TV series.

Not good weather at all, but good for reading - don't feel guilty sitting down.
Some of the book series I have read ....
Dorothy Simpson (Thanet & Lineham)
Peter Lovesey (Peter Diamond)
J M Gregson (Lambert & Hook)
P F Ford (Slater & Norman)
James Whitworth (Frank Miller)
Stephen Booth (Cooper & Fry)
Cynthia Harrod Eagles (D I Slider)
Roger Silverwood (Inspector Angel)
Peter Turnbull (Hennesey & Yellich)
Ann Granger (Mitchell & Markby)
" " (Campbell & Carter)
Further suggestions would be more than welcome

Hi Everyone - I live in the north of Scotland and am an avid reader - usually 2 or 3 books on the go at the same time. My favourites are British police procedurals, preferably with not too much swearing and not too bloodthirsty. I try and stay with a series with the same characters so I can get to know their characters, home life etc. I prefer to hold a proper book, but I use my kindle when reading in bed, and I use audio books when I am sewing.
Watch very little TV - too busy reading

I remember listening to The Day of the Triffids as a play on the radio .. far too long ago for me to admit !!!
I was given the LP of War of the Worlds, narrated by Richard Burton, as a birthday present, also many years ago. !!!!
