i love her, i love her, i love her. yes she can be very difficult sometimes or most of the time but reading her is absolutely rewarding, albeit not without a degree of hurt. i did my thesis on the bluest eye. looking back i didn't do it any justice at all. a mere mortal could only do so much. i read paradise, beloved, and jazz and i feel like i have to read them again. one should take his time when reading morrison.
has anybody read her first and only short story? i read about that somewhere.
