  1. As I stated elsewhere, "IT" is one of my favorite Stephen King books.

     

    btw, for all the stephen King fans, I have changed my photo. It is a painting that was done by my cousin. :)

     

    IT is an absolute masterpiece, I have read it 7 times.

  2. I worshiped King for years, apart from being an amazing story teller King is also a good psychologist and has a way of showing person's dark side to the point of making the reader uncomfortable. I have only read Koontz once, I was rather unimpressed.

  3. It really depends, as a teenager I was very passionate about King, I found his writing style excellent and I enjoyed the thorough psychological analysis of characters.

    Lately I have really gotten into Carlos Ruiz Zafon's work but I only enjoy it because of his fantastic imagination and I guess I read it for the story itself. I don't necessarily enjoy his writing style, I thought it was maybe due to translation but I read his books in English and Polish and something seems to be missing.
