Martin. Other than Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books, are there any good fantasy books or authors that are similar or set around a similar time period to A song of Ice and Fire? I haven’t read Game of Thrones, so can’t absolutely confirm this, but I’ve seen other people compare Joe Abercrombie’s books to Game of Thrones.
