SAFC97
Hi all hopefully someone can help me out I have only really stuck to the same kind of genre and around the same authors, such as Bernard cornwells the last kingdom series and ventures into some zombie books but wanting to venture into new genres and try a few different books this year. It's not much to go off but I hope someone can give some recommendations. Cheers SAFC97
Athena
I haven't read those books so I couldn't really give a recommendation. But this thread contains a lot of recommendations, some of our favourite books. Maybe take a look there?

Ooshie
If you would like another series, I wondered whether you might like the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian (the film Master and Commander was based on three books from the series). To check my idea, I entered 'Bernard Cornwell' into Literature-Map, and Patrick O'Brian is one of the four authors who come closest to him; the idea is that the closer two authors are, the more likely it is that a reader will like both of them, so they might be worth you looking at. Good luck with your hunting! Edited January 8, 2016 by Ooshie
