  1. I am a bit like that. I don't like book movies. unless they are good like the hunger game series just went and watched catching fire with my husband and a friend of ours for my 27 birthday. All I can say is wow we all loved it. I haven't read any of the books yet, I am waiting for the movies to finish.
  2. so with you on this nothing like a nice gruesome book followed by a book that I other wises would not even touch
  3. Now I know this isn't a book but it is well worth watching I don't know if any of Americans remember in the news and what not about a true crime case over there about (The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills). In total there are three documentaries all call *Paradise Lost* Here is the like to the wiki pages http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost:_The_Child_Murders_at_Robin_Hood_Hills http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost_2:_Revelations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paradise_Lost_3:_Purgatory so please watch it. It makes you really think of the Justice System not only in America but all over the world. *Just checked and there is a book about the case called Devil's Knot and that was also made in to a movie

  14. OMG.... just watched the movie and now got the book on my kindle And all I can say is OMG.... The Girl Next Door Based on the Jack Ketchum novel of the same name, The Girl Next Door follows the unspeakable torture and abuses committed on a teenage girl in the care of her aunt...and the boys who witness and fail to report the crime. sorry if this is in the wrong place but for those interested there is another film that is more like the book called An American Crime Suburbia in the 1950′s. A nice quiet simpler time to grow up -unless you count the McCarthy trials and red-scares and the shadow of the Bomb and the Cold War, unless you could see the dark side emerging. And on a quiet tree-lined dead-end street, in the dark damp basement of the Chandler house, it’s emerging big-time for teenage Meg and her crippled sister Susan -whose parents are dead now, who are left captive to the savage whims and rages of a distant Aunt who is rapidly descending into madness. It is a madness that infects all three of her sons -and finally an entire neighborhood. Only one troubled boy stands hesitantly between Meg and Susan and their cruel, torturous deaths. A boy with a very adult decision to make. Between love and compassion, and lust and evil.
  15. Oh ok Ok... well the first book is about a group of women that go on weekend get away that goes so wrong thats all I am saying. I will add the Book Description Imagine if your worst fears came true . . . again. At seventeen, Jodie Cramer survived a terrifying assault at the hands of three strangers. Her schoolmate Angie was not so lucky . . . Now thirty-five, Jodie is a teacher and mother of two - and her past is a horror she's buried deep. When she sets out for a weekend in the country with three friends, all she has in mind are a few laughs and a break from routine. However, unknown to the four women, their secluded cabin was once the focus of a police investigation and, like Jodie, holds a very dark secret . . . When Jodie finds evidence of prowlers at the cabin, she is convinced they are being watched, though none of her friends believe her. And after suffering flashbacks to the night of Angie's murder, she also starts to doubt her own sanity. Until two men come knocking at their door. Amanda
