  1. I have seen the movie after the book and I really liked it. Maybe I'll get the book too. Thanks!
  2. After I saw Eight below I had this lump for days.
  3. I just finished Maggie O'Farrell's "After you'd gone" and I must say I'm so touched, moved, emotionally deprived, so much FOR Love now, that I can't even explain myself enough. I don't have the right words not only in English, but I also lack the right expression in Bulgarian too. I really loved that book! So now I need to know, which are your best favorite, contemporary LOVE stories. P.S. If it weren't you, I would never find such great books as this one. Thank you all!
  4. I thought of buying it because I really loved A Long Way Down, but actually I didn't like High Fidelity, which many people prefer. I'm not going to buy this one either. Thanks!
  5. I'm interested. Which one oh her books will you recommend me to start with, The one that you love most?
  6. Thanks very much. I can see that now, but I guess I had some restrictions, so I couldn't answer. Now everything is OK.

    Regards,

  7. Answering someone's message is even easier than that! ;) When you have a visitor message from someone, just click on 'View Conversation'.. you will be taken to a screen where you can see all the messages between the two of you, plus a box to write your reply.

  8. and by "contemporary" I mean really "contemporary", like from last 2 decades. Which American authors or books do you like?
  9. Hi, and thanks for the answer. I think the problem with answering was that I was restricted answering, but but now that I am not anymore and with your help, I think everything is OK now. Thanks again

  10. Hi Blueberry_Pie! :17: to the forum! I saw your questions to admin about answer visitor profile messages and I'm not sure Michelle understood what you were asking. You wanted to know how to answer notes like this one that I'm leaving on your profile page right?

If so.... To answer visitor messages that people leave on your profile page, just put your cursor over their name and click. A list of options will come up, one of which is do you want to view their public profile. Click on this and you will be brought to their public profile where you will see a reply box. You can leave a quick reply or click on Go Advanced so you can include some smilies and formatting. Try clicking on my name when you see this and see if you can leave a message for me on my profile.

  11. Now that's a relief. I thought I just can't see the reply button Someone asked me questions by visitor's notes, and I just couldn't answer. I quess that's also the reason I can't see my profile photo... P.S. I'm and will try not to be a spammer. Whenever I join new forum I try to get to know the rules, people, the way it works, before bore people with my questions. Thanks!
  12. Birthday: Aug 19th 1978 Age: 30 Starsign: LEO(ness;) Single/Married/Other? Single Children? No Where do you live? Physically in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, but I feel comfortable living in my dreams, also in nice book or movies, because that's how dreams come true. Do you work? Yes, in a big-deal TV (video editing, news etc) Favourite author? Recently Douglas Kennedy stole my heart and my mind... or at least his books, Favourite book? HIS, especially The Pursuit of Happiness How did you get here? Mr Google did the job for me... thankfully
  13. OK, this is embarrassing, but I really find difficult to figure this forum's structure out. I don't know how to reply to visitors' messages. Any help is welcome. 'The Pursuit of Happiness' is really the book that grab my soul, my heart... it really moved me emotionally, something that I haven't felt because of a book last years. That's why I'm looking for other books like this one. Actually, after I dig a little in this forum and had read some of other people's reviews, I decided to buy some books of Maggie O'Farrell, Jonathan Coe and also Nicholas Evans.
  14. So how do you find our forum so far >

  15. You are way too sweet. I couldn't hope for a better welcome party Thank you all, and will try not to bore you with dull questions. I'll do my best to get well grounded in this forum. And PLEASE excuse my English (if/when necessary)!
