  9. Hi Papermoon and :5birthday:

  10. Hello there...somebody else who is still up..lol. Love your avatar is it Miffy. I am sitting watching the olympics at 3.20 am here in Aberdeen. Watching the swimming finals.

  11. My boyfriend reads also, though not quite as much as I do, and not the same kinds of books. He tends to read graphic novels/manga and technical books, though occasionally I'll convince him to dive into a literary work and he'll love it. Otherwise, he is prone to starting a book and finishing it 7 months later. We have a lot of bookmarks at his disposal. He doesn't find it weird that I read so much, but then again, he spends equal amounts of time playing video/computer games, so I doubt he even notices how many books I finish.
  12. My progress continues! Currently Reading (actively) The Meaning of Night by Michael Cox Confessions of a Book-Lover by Maurice Francis Egan (via ArcaMax) Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (via DailyLit) Currently Set Aside How to Read A Book by Mortimer J Adler Finding Your Roots by Jeanne Westin Twilight of the Superheroes by Deborah Eisenberg Party of One by Anneli Rufus Hopefully Reading Soon Ithaka by Adele Geras Year of Wonders by Geraldine Brooks Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier (and all kinds of others!) **** Again, those with asterisks (*) are reviewed on my blog May 05: Marie-Therese, Child of Terror: The Fate of Marie Antoinette's Daughter by Susan Nagel* 22: The Complete Fairy Tales by George MacDonald* 29: I Sing the Body Electric! by Ray Bradbury June 01: The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger* 05: Lover Enshrined by J.R. Ward 10: The Book Thief by Markus Zusak* 13: The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter 22: The Darkest Kiss by Gena Showalter 27: Inkheart by Cornelia Funke* July 03: The Castle in the Forest by Norman Mailer* 07: Unbound by Julie Kaewert 08: Warriors: Into the Wild by Erin Hunter 13: The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan* 15: Warriors: Fire and Ice by Erin Hunter 17: Warriors: Forest of Secrets by Erin Hunter 18: Warriors: Rising Storm by Erin Hunter 21: Publish and Perish by Sally Wright 23: Warriors: A Dangerous Path by Erin Hunter 24: Fatal Attraction by Alicia Fields 28: Things My Girlfriend and I Have Argued About by Mil Millington *In July, I participated in a Book Blowout challenge which required me to read as many books as I could. Hence the large number of books read. August 03: Warriors: The Darkest Hour by Erin Hunter 05: The Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter 09: The People's Act of Love by James Meek 11: New Moon by Stephanie Meyer
  13. I'm pretty impressed with my reading also... I usually read A LOT in the winter/fall months and not so much in summer/spring, but I know this year that is going to change because I will be able to read and be outside at the same time. (I now have a balcony!) I've had an extremely busy year too so the fact that I've read at least 4 books per month so far (except May, which isn't over yet) lets me pat myself on the back. Highlights include: How to Talk About Books You Haven't Read by Pierre Bayard Life of Pi by Yann Martel Four Letter Word ed. by Joshua Knelman Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami
