  1. Only read the opening post to this thread, this show hasn't been "relegated" to BBC3, I think it was always intended to be shown on BBC3 as the channel is aimed at a maturer age group. However it is repeated Wednesdays on BBC2, as already pointed out. I really like this series, I hope it does get another series. The most cynical of Doctor Who fans label it as Doctor Who with swearing just to highlight that the show is aimed for an adult audience, which is a load of rubbish if you ask me, not one reference has been made to Doctor Who throughout the series apart from the speculation about the severed arm in the glass jar that Captain Jack protects so avidly. Sorry if I've missed any other important points in this thread
  2. I'm not one for making new years resolutions but however I shall make just this one, even though it is a bit early to be doing so. The only resolution I am going to make is going to be take time out to actually read a lot more than I am doing at the moment. So here is my reading list for 2007: Anyone Can Do It
  3. "Walking a Golden Mile" - William Regal with Neil Chandler I do have another 2 wrestling biographies that I like.
  4. I'm the only one in my household, I haven't really read seriously for several years, but slowly getting back into it now.
  5. I only have you to blame following the link in your signature over at best-board.
  6. Just a little update, I've just ordered the borrible trilogy from Amazon.
  7. The Borribles trilogy by Michael de Larrabeiti - I read these as a kid, but lost the books, would love to read them again. The Death Trilogy by Terry Pratchett - already have this sitting on the shelf My mind has gone blank. I'll add some more later.
  8. Yeah Kingdom Hospital was a bit weird, seeing as he based it on his own accident when he was knocked down whilst jogging. Talking about Hex don't forget the new series starts at 9pm on Sky One tonight.
  9. Anyone else going to get this? I read an extract of the 1st chapter and also listened to Lenny Henry's reading, I'm liking this book already.
  10. I haven't actually read any of his books, but have watched a few of his Mini-Series like "Kingdom Hospital" and "The Stand", I've watched "Night Shift" which I thought was terrible and have seen "IT" which is quite scary.
  11. I'm terrible, I'll start one book then get side tracked and go on to another, last year I started on the "Rincewind Trilogy", I'm part way through the second in the trilogy "Eric".
  12. There are just 2 which stick out in my mind from school and they are "To Kill A Mocking Bird" which I really hated, had to do an essay on it and only got a C because I hated it, I don't really like writing about a book I don't like. The other is "Of Mice and Men" I really enjoyed this book and funnily enough I got an A.
