Thanks for the reply, but that is not the one I am looking for. She is a master in her field and has a lot of job. Every of this books is a part in the history and a part in this time. The things they dig up and investigate are told in the history part. So it is always 2 story's in one book. One story in the history that is formed with wath happened with the individuals that are found in the present day. And the second story in this time.

I am trying to find the books again of an author with books I liked a lot. It is about a Forensic scientist that during her job always stumbles on something unusual. This leads to finding out a crime has been committed. And she always getting in a lot of life threatening trouble because of that which she barely survives. Does someone knows the name of the author so I can find more of this books?
