Vass

I'm looking for a book that my dad has mentioned called "Tattoo". He can't remember the name of the author or when it was published but apparently it was about the Vietnam war and had an image of a tattooed hand giving the finger on the front cover. I know this isn't much to go on but any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
