  7. Ooo! A nick hornby discussion. Interesting to see.I love the guy,I read fever pitch and kinda enjoyed it even though I have zilch interest in football but 31 songs is another good obsession book.a few years back he collaborated with my no1 fave musician Ben foldd(check him out) and that was how I got in to him. Mr hornby did the lyrics,Mr folds the rest=Amazing,easily in my top 5 albums. I'll stop now.

Thanks, I will bear that in mind.I must admit round Ireland with a fridge is what drew me to his books in the first place.from reading the back it appealed to my humour/mentality. I don't know if they are owt like one another but Dave gormans done some cracking good/laugh out loud books
  9. I have a few Tony hawks on the pile that I ain't read.one hit Wonderland and around Ireland with a fridge I think.I may make one my next amusing reads to be him. Started Two cows and a vanful of smoke by Peter Benson last night.will b keeping the eye out for more of his in the future.
  10. On Monday I finished the girl on the train by Paula Hawkins (brilliant! 4 outa 5. Yesterday I started the gobbler by Adrian Edmondson(young ones,bottom)I may need my sides stitching up coz it's hilarious so far!
  11. Charity shops are brilliant for books I find.I travel around about a 30mile radius from where I live and the bargains I get are tremendous. I once got a jasper fforde book i had been after for 40p.I had even tried ordering it from my favourite independent book shop but it's out of print.in fact they had several of Mr ffordes but I already had them. I need banning from my local oxfam bookshop,I spend far too much there.I'm on 1st name terms with most the staff/volunteers
