  1. "The Wolf of Wall Street". I love Scorsese and I liked this film altough 3 hours maybe are a little too much. Great music, great editing, and a film that makes you think about the horrible people that exists in this world...
  2. I´ve read all books of blood (my favorite tale is "The Midnight Meat Train"), they are very good and they really scared the hell out of me. So did "The Hellbound heart". But I think that my favorite so far has been "Cabal". Very gripping.
  3. I´ve read the first two, and they are good fun. I´m not living in London at the moment but I had, and I miss it a lot sometimes so I loved that the books are London based. The third is already on my shelf!
  4. I´ve been kinda of lazy this first month of the year... I finished "The great and secret show" by Clive Barker and now I´m with "The Human Stain" by Philip Roth. No way I´m going to finish it on january...
  5. I absolutely love the Charlie Parker series by John Connolly. Reading this thread i´ve picked up a lot of names for future readings...
  6. The Hellbound Heart by Clive Barker, it really freaked me out since the first chapter!

  9. I´ve just finished Washington Square by Henry James, and quite enjoyed it, and I´m beginning The Great and Secret Show by Clive Barker, and I´m already hooked.

    Hi!

Hi! I´m Maria and I am very happy to join this book club forum because i´m an avid reader! I´m from Spain (so please be kind if I make some mistakes in my writing ) but I lived in London for almost two years. I try to read only in english since then and I think it is really helping me to improve my vocabulary. I love Steinbeck, the Russian authors, and the horror literature but I can not name a favorite book because there are too many! I´m looking foward to be part of this forum and have a lot of fun with it
