Whoops, I wrote "2012/13" originally but then was supposed to edit that to "recent films" so I could cover a larger selection. Prometheus seems to get a lot of stick. I know it was no Alien but I still really enjoyed it.

I'm trying to do a bit of research on the topic of educational books. Not text books but rather stories or books aimed at Kids that inccorperate learning into the text. I see a lot of books that deal with History, themes relating to politics and fact based Sci-Fi, but can anyone recommend any books that focus on Physical Geography (land formations and the like rather than capital cities and travel).

I've been playing Dark Souls a lot recently (trying to finish it before Dark Souls 2). Finally starting to get to grips with the game now and managed to take down one of the Bosses first try with no prep before hand (I accidently walked right into it). Its tough but fun.

I'm really surprised to see so many people from England here (I'm from Kent). Usually when on forums the majority of people I talk to are from America. Its always nice to chat to people in the same timezone

What do you think is the most important film of 2012/13? Not the best or the most successful, the one that made the most impact. For me it has to be Inception. Hollywood has been stuck in a rut for a while now, resorting to sequels, reboots and remakes. Inception proved to producers that you could take a risk on an original screenplay and still create a film that appeals to both critics and the masses whilst simultaneously making them a massive profit. Hopefully this will lead to more films being given the green light that otherwise wouldn't have seen the light of day.
