Janet
Gerry Rafferty, singer of the awesome Baker Street, has died today. It's one of my all-time favourite songs. He was also a member of Stealers Wheel, who had a hit with Stuck in the Middle With You. He was only 63. RIP+ to him.
Talisman
I used to be a real fan of his music and still listen to his album Night Owl, which I love. He had such a distinctive voice and will be a great loss to the music world. RIP Gerry.
Charm
I loved Gerry Rafferty's music and was so sad to hear this news. I have very fond memories of myself and my older brother singing at the top of our voice to his album, while coming home from my Mum's caravan. I was about 16 *sigh* .. RIP Gerry

Amesy
I wasn't really a fan of his music, however "Baker Street" is easily one of my favourite songs of all time. May he rest peacefully, or rock out hard in the afterlife, whichever is his preference.
pickle
I can't listen to Baker Street without shuddering it used to be the gymnastics warm up when I belonged to a club we all had to stand on matts in the most horrible leotards stretching and doing handstands etc...suffice to say I was terrible and it was a long time ago.
