Karsa Orlong Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 Hi everyone Gosh, I don't know what to write I live in London. I work from home, part-time at the moment, and with the rest of my time I have rediscovered my love of reading and writing. When I was working full-time in Central London I didn't read much at all but that's all changed in the past year. These days when I walk into a book shop I'm like a kid in a candy store: "I want to read that! And that! Oooh, and that!" I don't think anything can replace that feeling - buying books from Amazon just isn't the same. I mainly read science fiction and fantasy (and I like rock music - I know! What a geek!! ) but have been known to read other genres as well. Favourite author at the moment is Steven Erikson. I read his Malazan Book of The Fallen series last year and am in the process of re-reading it already because I loved it so much. I found this site completely by accident yesterday and thought I'd sign up. It'll be great to read other people's opinions and get steered towards some authors I might never even have considered reading. Sheesh, and I didn't know what to write ... Quote
