Loopyloo100
From the Back Cover: Life isn't easy for Detective Inspector Bobby Maiden. Death is even harder. When Maiden is revived in hospital after dying in a hit and run incident, his memories are not the familiar ones of bright lights and angelic music, only of a cold, harsh place he has no wish to revisit...ever. But his experience means that Bobby Maiden may be the only person who can reach The Green Man, a serial murderer the police don't even know exists...a predator who returns to stone circles, burial mounds and ancient churches in the belief that he is defending Britain's sacred heritage. Meanwhile, New Age journalist Grayle Underhill arrives from New York to search for her sister who's become obsessed with the arcane mysteries of the Stone Age. The bloody trail leads to a remote village on the Welsh Border...and to people who know there are more crimes in heaven and earth... It certainly has been slow reading for the first month of the year, however I thorough enjoyed The Cold Calling by Will Kingdom/Phil Rickman: a supernatural type read. I really enjoy the story line and getting acquainted with the characters and I also enjoy the style in which he writes. I will probably read a few books of his this year. 9/
Ben
Quite a big TBR list! Like a lot of people on here, hope you get through some good reads.
Loopyloo100
It wasn't such a long list until I joined BCF, Readitswapit and Librarything!
Guest ii
And oddly (not!) enough there's more titles crossed over in the wishlist than TBR list!

anisia
That's quite the long list I noticed a few I'm also planning to add on my TBR list; enjoy
Loopyloo100
Thank you anisia! I've nearly finished Being Emily and really have enjoyed that and I'll be on to the new novel by Tony Black next called Gutted which involves an ex journalist called Gus Dury. The first in the series Paying For It was fantastic and I'm hoping this will be just as good if not better.
Loopyloo100
Well I finished Gutted and will be putting up a review for this soon. I'm just about half way through Tomato Girl by Jane Pupek. I will be writing a review for this one when I've finished it too! I'm also listening to The Broken Window by Jeffrey Deaver. It seems to work exceedingly well as an audiobook. I haven't read the Sleeping Doll by Jeffrey Deaver yet, but this should be arriving in the post shortly.
pipread
I`m glad you`re enjoying The Broken Window and I`m sure you`ll equally like Sleeping Doll. Jeffery Deaver`s one of my favourite authors. Please don`t let me put you off reading No Time For Goodbye, it was recommended to me, and I`ve read lots of good reviews about it, I just lost interest in it for some reason. The majority of people rave about it, so I think it must have been me at fault not the book! If you do read it I`ll look forward to hearing your thoughts on it. Loopyloo100
Thanks pipread - I'll keep it on my wish list for now and will probably pick up a charity shop copy when I see one.
Loopyloo100
Well I have certainly managed to add a few more to the TBR mountain since last updating this and that includes No Time for Goodbye. I did start reading it the day I got it as I was miles from home waiting around and I had time on my hands and went into a Discount Bookshop and found it. I have however put it back on my TBR pile, but the little I read I did enjoy and it has me intrigued. It's handy to find bookshops whilst waiting for other people. I also found Stuart: A Life backwards that way and also started reading that. Will definitely need to get back to these soon and I'll probably start them both from the beginning again. I'm reading Sandra Brown's Chill Factor at the moment: it's quite a gripping thriller and I don't think it'll be long before it's devoured. booklover7809
What a great TBR list! Appears we have similar tastes... some of those appear in my TBR pile also, but more than anything you've given me some great ideas to lengthen my list Booklover Book Reviews Word Puzzle Weekly
Book Fiend
I can spot a few books on your TBR pile which I've read and really enjoyed. Crybbe by Phill Rickman is a wonderfully spooky horror story, I have some more of his that I need to get around to reading. The Time Travellers Wife and the His Dark Materials Trilogy are some of my favourites! I've also read A Short History of Tractors in Ukranian and The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time and enjoyed them both very much. And if it makes you feel better my TBR is almost as big as yours, and is still growing!!
