Brian. Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Shetland is back with Series 9 coming on 6th November. I was very late in watching Shetland on the iPlayer but now I can't get enough of it and I wish there were more episodes. It's not quite the same without Perez but I think Calder played by Ashley Jensen is a decent replacement. Tosh is still my favourite character by far though and I'm glas she is being given more airtime as the series have progressed. 1 Quote
itsmeagain Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 (edited) She's lost a bit of weight .Great character , Tosh, and so funny. Like you, we were late to the party and I love the show. Another good one to recommend is Astrid:Murder in Paris on Channel 4 . Oh..Perez was brilliant by the way. Edited November 15, 2024 by itsmeagain 1 Quote
Madeleine Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 I love Astrid as well, it's so good. Another good French series was Crimson Rivers (now online) and the one that's just finished, The Chateau Murders, which is French Canadian and set in Quebec, which looks spectacular. 1 Quote

itsmeagain Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 The Patience series will be a British emulation of Astrid apparently. Quote
