Similar to The King Killer Chronicles trioligy

Hello,

 

I have been caught up in the series The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.

The 3rd book isn't out yet and I am in need of something similar to read while waiting for the release.

 

I am in love with the universe he has created and the way he tells the story.

 

I love the fantasy world with people learning magic, but still has a thread of reality in it.

 

I hope some of you might have some good ideas 😀

I've not read this myself yet as I'm waiting for the series to be finished first (after too many times of being burned by forgetting what happens between books coming out). It does look good though.

 

You might like Tad Williams's Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy or Robin Hobb's Farseer trilogy though?

I haven't started the series yet myself for the same reason. But I've heard amazing things, and I own both books (I don't own the novella yet, as I was waiting for a paperback release).
