Another in the British Library series Tales of the Weird. A collection of ghost stories that are set in and around Christmas but not necessarily about Christmas. There are twelve stories in this one ranging from 1893 to 1974. I agree with the British Library, these stories should be printed and read because they are absolutely marvellous. Just right for the long, dark winter nights that surround Christmas and good quality ghost stories which would not seem to be a good idea in the light nights surrounding summer.
Recommended, and that's saying something because I don't usually enjoy short stories.
