  2. Yep, I just stuck book club in the Ask Jeeves search Engine. I was just looking to see what was out there as far as avid readers went and this place seemed cool.

    Hey Glowmay, Welcome.

    Your sports

Impressive Polly. My wife used to do Kick Boxing and while we were engaged I went along to a couple of sessions... I had a white out in one of the circuit sessions due to trying too hard. Now I just stick to golf.
  6. With publishers forever changing their artwork it is often a losing battle.

  17. I did manage it once on a beach in Corfu. It was Paint Your Dragon by Tom Holt... a ridiculously funny book.
  18. Hi there one and all. I am new to this community forum thingy on the internet so I 'm stuck for things to tell you already. I love fiction... I suppose that goes without saying as I have joined a forum such as this. The spare bedroom inour house makes a cosey study with P.C. and three bookcases of my favourite books at the moment. Looking up I can see such varied authors as Wilbur Smith, Jeffery Deaver, Richard Laymon, Raymond Feist, Peter F Hamilton... and many more. I enjoy a good film, (as well as pretty rubbish films) with my taste as assorted as with my books. The last visit to the cinema was to see the 3D My Bloody Valentine. I play a mean game of golf f I practise a bit beforehand. I am currently listening to radio coverage of The Masters since my wife is watching a dodgey Adam Sandler film. Anyway, that is a start.
