Lol, that was it. It was only like a page out of it, and I've had a busy day otherwise I would've remembered! Ha, I agree with you though, I loved it, and if it was a ploy to entice us to take english lit, then it's certainly worked, and I will be handing my application form in first thing tomorrow.

That's weird! In my taster session for 6th forum English Literature, the teacher grabbed our attention through gothic literature! I found it very interesting indeed, and I'm taking English lit so I'm looking forward to it very much.

Hi Paul, just popped by your thread to wish you good luck with your challenge. I've never really bothered with challenges, but then again I haven't looked at making lists of books I've read throughout a year, before now. 2009 is the year were I will make such a list! I don't think I'll attempt any challenges other than a personal challenge to read some good, new reads.

That's were I am different then. Neither of my parents read, at all. It's usually me that's encouraging them to read something. ): Like I said below I've read a lot from a young age.. I must've just been drawn to reading by fate!

I'm a sucker for chart music. Snow Patrol, James Morrison, The Script, Coldplay, Oasis. Many more..
I was pressured into making a decsion about a language from both sides for GCSE- French + Spanish. I eventually decided on Spanish, althought both teachers said I had a gift for languages. 
But now I've matured a lot and I noticed this place again. It's good to be back!
