  1. I literally have fallen in love with Matt Haigs books. They are written in such a way that makes them an easy read but the stories make it challenging and gets you thinking. 2 books that definitely got me thinking is "the humans" and "reasons to stay alive" they both have interest and make you question things which is what i like in a book- to make you think! Matt Haig has certainly grown to become one of my favourite authors in recent months and i think he deserves more credit for his books- such excellence.
  2. Of mice and men... such a fabulous book. My favourite character was Curleys wife seen as though she's the only woman in the entire book and she doesn't even have a name! It's such a good book and also gives an insight as to how it was during the great depression from lots of different viewpoints: the landowners, the wives, the itinerant workers etc. Such a powerful book!
  3. We had to analyse this book in school in Year 9 and since I've often returned to it and re-read. It's well written and gives an insight to what it may be like to have aspergers syndrome and creates an awareness for it. The book is fantastic to read and everytime I find it hard to put down.
  4. Room is such an excellent book and is so hard to put down once you start reading it! definitely worth a read!
