The Women's Prize for Fiction 2021 Winner

It is our great pleasure to confirm Piranesi by Susanna Clarke as the winner of the Women's Prize for Fiction 2021.

I have already read this and it is amazing.  Highly recommended

I am really looking forward to this book, but I also don’t know how it could possibly live up to Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell for me!

I haven't read Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell* so I can't say but Piranesi is a masterpiece, imho.

*Have bought a copy. It's been a long time since I read a really long book.

Was in two minds but will have to read it now, at least it's short!

It is weird, I'll grant you that.  Stream-of-consciousness, too.

I would say the same about Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell! I knew I’d like the subject when I bought it, but I absolutely did not expect to love it as much as I did. It is so well crafted. I hope you’ll love it too!

I didn’t know that! It’s been a very long time since I read a stream-of-consciousness novel so that should be interesting.

It's very easy to read though. It's stunning.

Hurrah for Piranesi winning! I loved it, though it is an usual style of stream of consciousness, but I carried on, and it was excellent altogether. Recommend :)
