poppy
And tonight Debbie Reynolds died. One day after her daughter Carrie Fisher. May they both R.I.P. Oh no! I hadn't heard that Muggle, I imagine the shock of her daughter's death would have been huge. I was just watching Singin' In the Rain last night
chesilbeach
Loved Debbie - saw her live on stage a couple of times doing her one woman show - dazzling and hilariously funny. RIP Debbie.

Madeleine
Watching the news the other night was more like watching an obituary programme, first George Michael, then Carrie Fisher, then Liz Smith and Richard Adams.
shirley
I'm heartbroken. I adored Wham! and George Michael as a solo artist growing up, he was the soundtrack to my childhood and adolescence. I could not believe it when I saw this on the news. I wasent sure why they were showing his hits until they said he had died, beyond belief. This year has been so awful for celebrities. chaliepud
One of the saddest 2016 deaths for me was the loss of William Christopher on 31st December, one of my favourites in many years of watching MASH.
Little Pixie
One of my favourite actors, Miguel Ferrer, has died. He was brilliant in Crossing Jordan. RIP. Edited January 20, 2017 by Little Pixie
Peacefield
That's very sad about Miguel Ferrer, Pixie! He was so young I was saddened too about William Christopher, Chalie. Father Mulcahy was always one of my favorite characters on MASH.

Madeleine
I didn't know he was in NCIS:LA, funnily enough I watched an ep last night (about the only thing I could find that I hadn't seen before) and they put a little note up at the end with his dates, he didn't look very well I must say, poor man. Talisman
I know she wasn't a celebrity, but I would like to mention the young girl who was murdered in Iceland last weekend - Birna Brjánsdóttir - may she rest in peace.
