Kindle and ebooks deals

Recommended Posts

Hi Rob, welcome to the forum. :)

I've removed the link from your post, as new members can't post links until they've reached a certain amount of posts, so it won't actually work for other members anyway.  Can I ask if you're related to this book in anyway?  It's unusual for a new member to join the forum and their first post to be about a new book by a new author without it being promotional.  If not, then we'll look forward to you joining in the forum, and hopefully see your thoughts on the book after you've read it.

My Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell is in the Kindle Daily Deal for 99p today.  I know a few people here have already read it, but if you've been tempted by the discussion, it seems like a bargain to me! :D

Ooh, thanks for that post! :) I'm a fan of Angela Thirkell, and I've run out of Kindle versions to read, at the moment. And a free one is perfect!

There are eight Peter Hamilton books on the Big Deal today at 99p each

I would recommend all of these, if you like epic science-fiction space opera.

They're not my cup of tea, but I know a lot of people here like them, so I thought there would be a few recommendations! :)

Oh brilliant! I've checked, and I already have about 4 of them, so have bought the ones I didn't have. Such a bargain considering how big those books are!

Downloaded quite a few free books from amazon over the weekend. I also bought the next four books in the Chronicles of St Marys books series.  Ok now is not the time to not want to read anything.

The three books in the His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman are £0.99 each today on Kindle. I've bought them, as I've been waiting for the price to come down for a while now. :D

I've bought one of the Chronicles of St Mary's books but I haven't got round to reading it yet.

Under a Dark Star by Anna Faversham (yes, that's me) has now been reduced worldwide to 0.99.

Thanks for that, I don't really read many e-books, but since it was free, well you never know when it might come in handy :).
