  1. I recently read these two books. They were short and goofy, but they really did change the way I look at the world. I was wondering if anyone has read these books and has any thoughts on them or has read any other good books regarding taoism. Also, I don't mean to bump the thread, but being a new member I can't quite edit my posts yet. Anyway, another book with similar philosophical ideals is the book The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman. I've read this book and had a similar experience reading it as I did reading the Tao of Pooh/Te of Piglett. Peaceful Warrior is part of a series that I plan to read. Anyone have any thoughts on those books?
  2. I recently read this book under the recommendation that it would change my thoughts on the existence of God. It didn't quite do that, but I did find it to be a good book. It was a little slow in the beginning but oh well, many books are. Unfortunately, I saw online that the story was very similarly written in 1981 in a book called Max and the Cats. Takes a little bit of the creative power away from the book. I am excited to see how they interpreted to the book to be on the silver screen though.
  3. Running with Scissors is a good book. Not specifically about the main characters sexuality but it does become a main theme.
