  1. I recommend the The Declaration series by Gemma Malley and like you I am a big lover of dystopian fiction!!
  2. Like both of you I was drawn into the mystery of this book but I don't know why I was slightly disappointed with the ending of the story but that disappointment overrules due to the really interesting characters.
  3. I saw this being previewed in the adverts for The Hunger Games at the cinema so I thought it was worth a look! I love this genre and I never get tired of brilliant ideas of a future dystopia!
  4. Although Shiver was heavily romance based I recommend Maggie Stiefvater's other novel The Scorpio Races in which the romance kind of takes a back seat and more plot based which suits me! Also your list is perfect I loved Hunger Games and Ultraviolet!
  5. I recommend The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater, which is a dark and interesting work of fiction like the Hunger Games is with a little bit of romance as well.
  6. I so agree! Book 4 is the highlight of the books although imagining Eric in pink Lycra in book 3 was one of my all time favourite moments.
  7. Hello! I am searching for interesting fiction about the Ancient Greeks and the Romans. I found that after reading about gladiators and Roman culture I wanted to read some more! I love historical fiction but don't know where to start...Can anyone recommend me anything?
  8. Are there books on your shelf that you just can't read in the dark! When I was younger my mum used to laugh as I could never read my Goosebump books in the night as I got incredibly scared. Anyone still can't read some books after dark or is it just me?
  9. Oh yes! I have already pre-ordered it on Amazon! That's how much I'm looking forward to it! I bet you are also?
  10. Thank you for the awesome review Weave! It truly reflects what I thought about the book!
  11. *Sigh* Another break! I'm having really bad withdrawral symptoms and I keep resorting to watching Lost and Legally Blonde just to make up for it! What am I going to do when the show finally ends?
  12. I crave Joe's ice-cream but it has to be from the counter not from a freezer in a shop, it just doesn't taste the same! Normally, I hate plain ice-cream but I can never resist a Joe's no matter what the weather!
  13. A couple of days ago I bought what's called a Pomelo a fruit from South-east Asia. I thought that it looked really nice and juicy but when I cut it open I was very disappointed it was just like a dried up grapefruit!
  14. I don't think I could go to college without my daily doasge of Tea (Milk and two sugars!. On the weekends I go through at least 4-5 cups, apparently I make a very nice cup of tea!
  15. I just gobbled down some Animal biscuits! I always remember having them in my little lunchbox in Primary school!
  16. I can't believe it's taken me this long to start them! After seeing how excited my sister was going to see DH part 1 I felt left out and I was determined to read the series before part two came out and I am loving them!! I can see why the so many millions adore them!
  17. I'm good thanks Weave! I too have found a lot of dystopian fiction lately and I seem to get interested really easy as I would love to peek into the future to see what is in store.
  18. Matched by Ally Condie, The New York Times latest bestseller is a the first in a dystopian trilogy and I loved it! Here is a synopsis: On her seventeenth birthday, Cassia meets her Match. Society dictates he is her perfect partner for life. Except he’s not. In Cassia’s society, Officials decide who people love. How many children they have. Where they work. When they die. But, as Cassia finds herself falling in love with another boy, she is determined to make some choices of her own. And that’s when her whole world begins to unravel . . . Has anyone else read this? I reccomend it if you haven't!
  19. I read this not so long ago to my little brother! He loved it I just hope that he doesn't start rummaging around the kitchen with a saucepan!
  20. Yeah, I know! Apparently he was my Great Uncle! I wish I found that out sooner, I would have visited him in his house in Bath otherwise!
  21. This sounds really interesting! It also sounds alot like a book I read recently called Matched by Ally Condie. I bet it will be a good read just like Matched was!
  22. I read this book a while back and remember enjoying it but since then I haven't had time to read the sequels. Are they any good?
  23. Can I change my mind? Well, if I'm honest after most of the hype has died down I read both series again from start to finish and now I really do feel that Harry Potter is much more magical and mind-blowing rather than the romantic pull of the Twilight Saga.
  24. This is right up my street! I am gonna hunt this down in my local library tomorrow!!
  25. My friends have always considered me Hermione's twin but unfortunatly our world has no magical castle full of witches and wizards. I would love it if I could it could all be real!
