  9. That creature he's butting heads with is just as heinous. Maybe even worse. She can't make up her mind if she is a feminist or not. Just spouting a load of hot air the silly girl. One minute she wants to do the challengs as she's as strong then RKS should bow out of collecting wood and do the 'gentlemany thing' Idiot Esther's great
  10. The man who made a career of being hit over the head by John Cleese? Yes, I'm sure his pride must be fully-functioning and still intact
  11. It made me laugh that she professed all this angst at what RB said (it was true apparently and she couldn't claim defamation or whatever) and yet she is in a bad called that Poor delicate flower
  12. Well yes, but not by them. After all, they have no need for publicity My thoughts on that are best expressed elsewhere though
  13. I've heard that Andrew Sachs' grand-daughter is going. I suppose she's topical if nothing else
  14. We don't generally hear until the last couple of days do we? After all, it gives the drama queens time to change their mind in the hope of getting more publicity/money and after they have realised that it's not a set and they are real snakes

    24. Hurting Distance by Sophie Hannah Her last book disappointed me but continued to haunt me for a while so I gave this a go when I saw it at the library. For me, it's better than Little Face, or maybe I was expecting less. As appears to be de rigeur nowadays, the detectives are the same as in the previous book (is it compulsory I wonder) but I am sure you cold read the books in isolation. One thing Sophie Hannah does that is different to so may authors is female nutters. She's so good at these 'broken' women with major psychological problems, all caused by big bad men. Hmmm.... Anyhow, it's ok this one. All neatly bundled up at the end too. If you like Little Face, you'll like this 7/10 3/6 books read off Mount TBR - I've bought one book so can't buy any more
