I picked up The Soul Catcher today by AK and wondered if anyone else had read her stuff and if so, what do you think? Do you rate her?

The write up on the back looks right up my street.

Yay !!! Go Emma !

write up from the back of Soul Catcher, Alex Kava :

Maggie O'dell confronts a new face of evil.

A group of young men commit suicide in a secluded cabin.
A senators daughter is found strangled.
Two seemingly unrelated cases.
Both assigned to expert criminal profiler Maggie O'Dell.
As she delves deeper, it appears there is a connection - Reverend Jospeh Everett, a charismatic leader of a religious sect who's attracted both rebellious teens and the lonely middle aged into his fold.
Maggies' involvement becomes personal when she realises a member of her own family has been sdeuced by Everetts' sick illusions. But the soul catcher wears many faces and the case is nowhere near as simple as it seems.....

I've got Split Second by Alex Kava on my TBR shelf. Not sure if it's my first Kava book or not.

I read the Soul Catcher and Split Second a few years back now. I met the author in a bookshop and had one of the books signed (I hadn't heard of her/read her books when I had this done lol). To be honest I can't remember much about the storylines but they must have been good coz I've kept them on my bookshelf rather than passing them on!
