I think this book covers all genres! Murder, incest,fantasy, romance, love, ...this book has it all.
I loved reading these Myths. Strangely enough, while I usually have a problem with fantasy, I got along fine with half men half beasts, monsters, Gods giving birth from the top of their heads, and other fantasies, perhaps because I had heard some of the stories before? The book has fantastic illustrations of paintings, figure vases, sculptures, Greek artifacts and Greek archaeological sites.
A lovely book, which I would recommend to anyone who cannot settle down with a normal book at the moment.

I love ancient mythology, especially Greek & Roman. The stories are absolutely cracking even when they're non-sensical, jam-packed with action, adventure & heroics.

I love it too, but I have to shamefully admit that I have not read a book about it since I was a teenager!
