Has anybody read any of her books?

I picked up The Surgeon today for 40p and liked the look of it from the back cover.

I also picked up a couple of Linda Farstein and one Lisa Gardner, I really do HAVE to stop buying until I can get my (to read* list down, LOL

I read The Apprentice and really enjoyed. It's a follow on (although not actually a sequel) to The Surgeon, so I got hold of that, and liked that too. The Sinner was also good.

I recently read one of her older ones.. can't remember the name, and it was quite a bit different - it reminded me of John Saul's older books.

I've just been flicking through Amazon, and Gravity sounds really cool - has anyone tried that one?

GreenMetropolis had an 'excellent' copy, and I had credit in my account, so....

I am another big Gerritsen fan. I have read all the Jane Rizzoli/Maura Isles books (The Surgeon, The Apprentice, The Sinner, Body Double, and Vanish), and am now working my way through the other books of which I have read Life Support, and Call After Midnight. I wouldn't say that Call After Midnight is a romance - it's still a thriller.

Warning about these books - once you start you can't stop, so make sure you have a few hours spare when you start.

Reading her interview got me interested and I picked up The Surgeon for 30p in a charity shop - can't argue with a price that low!

I have really enjoyed her medical thrillers.....hard to put down...but I started to read The Surgeon, and I got very turned off...for some reason I just found it incredibly graphic, which is funny because it never really bothered me before :worried:

You are allowed to include urls within the text. Type your text, highlight it, then click on the link button above. You'll then get a pop up box asking you for the url.

However, vbulletin does a good job with urls, as it shortens them, as to not break the page. :)

I was at Kat's yesterday, and saw a copy of Body Double on her book shelf (you can't not look if somebody has a book case  ) so i took a peek, as you do :D , and i've decided that this is yet another author to add to my 'to read' list.
I know i said i wanted to broaden my horizons where my reading is concerned but this is ridiculous (only kidding I am loving every minute of it really!) my TBR pile now has three groups Red - to read immediately,
Amber - to read as soon as the red pile has gone down and Green - which is to read at sometime in the near future!!!!!!

Don't you just love this forum

I'm not sure what problem you're having.. to be honest. The reply boxes act like a 'wysiwyg' editor.. if you click the double 'A' in the corner, it will switch to 'enhanced editor'. Maybe you'll be able to see what you're doing better with that one?

Hi all.:)

I have read several books by Tess Gerritsen, all of them being the Surgeon, Apprentice series. I've finished the Mephisto Club recently and really enjoyed it as well as the others. I know she has also written other titles which are not about Jane Rizzoli and co but they dont appeal to me for some reason. Has anyone here read any of her stuff and what do you think of them? :readingtwo:

Her books are brill. If you've enjoyed these two then check out her website. :D

The Rizolli and Isles series is much better if you read them in order though.:)
