If you like thrillers, this is a must. I made a mistake with this - I watched the film, and never bothered with reading the book, partly because I knew who the unsub was. But the book is so much richer than the film! And as I went on to read the other Lincoln Rhyme stories, I missed out on the start of LR and Amelia Sachs' relationship, by not reading this. One heck of a thriller. :reading:

I loved The Bone Collector, I quite liked the film too although there were a few years between me reading the book and then seeing the film.

The film is good - I got to know about the books much later. But some things cannot be translated on screen can they?( Although having said that - the scene with the rat - which I cannot forget - did not bother me one iota reading about it)
