Val McDermid - The Torment of Others

Is that with Tony Hill?

Michelle
8th February 2006, 15:20
Yep - it's this one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0007142900/qid=1139411939/sr=2-1/ref=sr_2_2_1/203-9125596-4112717).
Sigh.. does that mean I've picked up another one from the middle of a series?!

I have not read them all, so cannot be sure, but I don't think it would matter much. Val McDermid's Tony Hill is a profiler, and he features in a "set" of books, but I do not think that they should be read in any particular order.
They are based in England I believe.

I've actually read about half that book, and I'm keen to get back to it. Why the first chapter in particular?

Maureen
11th February 2006, 13:58

It is a great teaser!

.........and I have read that chapter before.

Cannot remember if I read the whole book though.

Michelle
