Odd Thomas starts off quite strangely, but I was intrigued. As the story of Odd (yes, that is his name) unfolds, I found myself wanting to know more about him, and the world he lives in. I don't want to give too much away, as Koontz lets it unfold better than I could.
There's a great storyline running through this book, with some good characters. It builds up to a good finish.. then a surprise ending. :)
This is certainly one of Koontz's better offerings. :)
