I'm trying to find the title of a book I read 30 years ago. Despite the tragic ending, the book was a magically uplifting story of an 8 or 9 year old girl who had a most full and satisfying life. I remember the blurb described it as an 'ahh book'. Can anyone help? I am getting desperate!
