Looking for a shortstory about Mr. Potato Head

Hi,
I once read a short story at University which I really likes. The main character was Mr. Potao Head and it was some kind of horror story. It was about someone staying in a house (may be a hotel) in which a big cupboard was. I only remember that Mr. Potato Head became alive during the nights and started making some kind of noise as he was captured in the cupbaord...

I know it's not a lot but I have already googled several times and I simply cannot find anything about this short story...
