Hi. I was wondering if someone is able to tell me the name of this book.
I can remember reading a book a while ago but can't remember the title and can't find it in my collection. Its a chicklit kind of book.
The main character meets a guy when they're teenagers. I think she is a redhead. I can remember her being very plain and she was wondering why he chose her. They go down to the river to meet because her mom is strict. He ends up going off with her best friend, who he gets pregnant and they get married. The main character has an abortion.
Years later the couple move to the same village as the main character and throw a house warming party. She has since married someone else and has children.
In the end, the main character nearly sleeps with her old boyfriend, and the best friend tries to sleep with her friends husband.
Sorry if it's confusing. I can't remember anything else apart from the main character might be called Catherine.
I have just remembered that the main character was not married because he husband had slept with a groupie in the toilets of a pub. (He was in some kind of tribute band).
