BCF - The Blog! (http://bookclubforum.wordpress.com/)
Yes, BCF now has it's own blog, which is much easier for me to keep updated, rather than playing with the website. We will posting on their about new competitions, new features, visiting authors, that kind of thing.

It's very new right now, and will hopefully evolve into something really useful. So, go along, bookmark it, or add it to your news reader.. and make sure you link to it in your own blogrolls! ;)

Can anyone contribute Michelle, and if so, what is the procedure?
Susie.

That's not something we've thought about.. it's been designed mainly for updates about the forum, but we thought we'd include some book news as well.
(I'm also a little confused, because this section is meant to be 'read only'.)

Sorry Michelle. I didn't notice that :(

It's not that you're not allowed to respond to the thread - Michelle just means she thought it was set so nobody could respond to it. :)

Yep, thanks Kell.. that's just what I meant. :)
And I'm still confused, because the permissions seem right...

I hate to tell you this but not only can I reply to threads in this part of the board, but I can start them too. Although obviously I wont be!

The permissions system on here is so ridiculously complicated.. I shall have to try to sort it out, so if anyone has trouble accessing anywhere, don't panic, and give me a chance to sort it! ;)

Ok.. I've redone them for this section.. in the Announcements and Rules forums, members should be able to read but not post, whilst in the Competitions one you should be able to respond to a thread (after you have 10 posts), but not start a new one.
If anyone finds they can still post, or start a new thread, where they shouldn't be able, please let me know. :)
