Stephen Booth

Last year, one of our featured authors was Stephen Booth. I had never read any of his books before then, and after reading the interview and talking with him, I bought one of his books - Blood on the Tongue. I enjoyed the story - it has a nice couple of twists in the plot, and keeps you interested till the end. I also liked the main characters - Detectives Diane and Ben. After reading this book, I was interested in reading other books featuring these characters, but did not have time to do much reading!
Last week I managed to get my hands on "Black Dog", and I am happy to say I was not disappointed. The plot was good, the characters developed nicely, and there were a couple of red herrings thrown along the way to keep me uncertain of the outcome. Very enjoyable.

I've read a few of his, and I thought the main character - I forget his name now .. Cooper was it? Was very sweet.
